7 Ways To Get Better Facebook ResultsAh Facebook. We love to hate on them and hate to love them. I talk to a lot of businesses daily and it’s very rare to have Facebook not come up in the conversation. We are addicted to Facebook and with that mentality everyone wants to know how to tap into the billions of users for their business.

Hey, I get it! Unlocking the secrets to Facebook can help you grow your business and keep your fans happy. The problem, however, is that Facebook is always changing. The newest change is the declining Facebook reach. It’s annoying. It’s frustrating. And I wish there was a magic pill that helped you reach all your fans on Facebook every time you post something. Unfortunately that’s not going to happen. However, there are some things that you can do that will help you reach more people on Facebook.

Here are some tried and true ways to get more action, more engagement and more likes on your Facebook page.

But before we get into the tactics I want you to really think about what you want to get out of Facebook. When you say you want to get better results from Facebook, what exactly does that mean?

Do you want to get more likes on Facebook?
Do you want to get more traffic from Facebook?
Do you want to get more comments?

What do you really want? Because if you define that first, you’ll be much more successful overall. I promise that. 😉 For me, I want more traffic from Facebook. I want more traffic because I know that the more traffic we get, the more leads we get and the more leads we get the more sales we see. It’s that simple for us.

So, let me ask you again. What do you want from Facebook?

7 Ways To Get Better Facebook Results

1. Check Your Insights

If you know your audience, you’ll have a better idea of what to post and when to post. You should really analyze this data every week. Look back and see which posts worked best and see how you can duplicate that time and time again. Your insights are very important.

2. Pin To The Top
This is a strategy that you can use for your most important posts. Because people still go to pages (no they don’t only consume content in the news feed), it’s a good idea to rotate the content that you’ve pinned to the top. Try it, you’ll see your pinned content will get more action.

3. Don’t Schedule Too Many Posts
I’ve noticed that when I schedule the content doesn’t go as far as when it’s spontaneous. I’ve also noticed that when I reshare hot content from other pages in real-time it does better.

4. Feature Videos
You know I love posting videos to Facebook. It’s the best way to see increased engagement. On Facebook you have the option to feature it. Like a pinned post, this featured video will be larger in the video section and the first video you see when looking at your profile page.

5. Sponsor Posts
I know, I know. You don’t want to spend money. But this is a really good way to boost a particular post and the next post after it. The reason is based on how the Facebook algorithm works. When you have the attention of your fans and they interact with your content, they will see the more of your content. So by sponsoring something to get a boost, more people will see the following posts. (This is just a theory, but I think it is absolutely true.)

6. Use Facebook As Your Page
The default mode is to use Facebook from your personal page, but you can change it so that you can actually use Facebook as your business page or business name. It’s a great way to engage with other fan pages and comment and reply to people who are commenting on more popular pages. I always like to say, the more engaged and active you are as a business, the more active and engaged your fans will be towards you!

7. Make Friends With Fan Pages
Friends help friends. It’s that simple. When you have friends who have fan pages, you can help each other spread your posts. Cross promotion is a good thing.
