6-Examples-Of-Branded-Social-VideoIf you aren’t using video on our social media pages yet, it’s time to start thinking about changing that.

Social and video are a match made in heaven. It increases engagement, it draws people in, and it can keep people coming back for more.
Yes, I know the idea of social videos can be overwhelming. You don’t have a huge budget. You don’t like to be on camera. I’ve heard it before and I’ve said it myself. But the great thing about video is that it doesn’t have to be super high budget. It doesn’t have to include you and it doesn’t even have to have sound. Creating video has never been easier.

Here are some simple branded social videos that I enjoy watching with a bit of commentary to get your creative juices flowing. Looking forward to seeing your videos too. 🙂

1. Sweet Ambs
She just makes it look so easy. Plus, she is working with cookies and icing, you really can’t go wrong here.

2. Gold Peak Tea
I like that there is no sound and it’s very easy to follow. While it is not promoting their own tea, it is connected because food and drink go together. A girl’s gotta eat right. 🙂

3. Tyme
This video is so low budget that it makes you feel like it is the most authentic thing you’ve ever seen. Plus, as a live how-to, it shows the product and makes the viewer feel like they too can have that gorgeous hair.

4. Nordstrom
Nordstrom obviously has a big budget, but what I like about this video is that it is fun and it fits in with the whole fashion influencer social media thing. You don’t necessarily feel like you are being advertised to but it draws you in. I can see this on Instagram coming from a fashion or style blogger and that makes it nice.

5. Drop
I used to work with Drop so I obviously think it is one of the coolest companies ever, but this video definitely has my attention. Not only does it give you a sneak peek into what they are working on, it’s in reverse and that just makes it fun. Videos should be fun.

So yeah, this is what we’ve been working on in the Drop Test Kitchen this week. Sticky fun! 🙂

6. The Cromwell
This video isn’t fancy, it’s just a behind the scenes look at everyday life. The speed and length is perfect and can be created very easily.

Yup, even on Mondays. #BoundBySalvatore
